Icons & Logos
I recently started tried my hands on making a couple logos. I think it’s really fun and important to think about the personal and cultural aspects of our science, because those are the things that give meanings to our work in the end.
If you have an idea of how you want to represent your research group, send me a message!

Working prototype for the Leiboff lab logo. What better representation of us here at OSU than a beaver munching on a cornucopia of cereal grains!

Logo for the Maize Genetics Meeting 2021. Here I portrayed the various maize organs, decorated with artistic motifs of the indigenous peoples of Mesoamerica (the Maya, Mixtec, Zapotec, Mexica and Nahuas) to honor the original stewards of maize domestication.

Zea mays

Sorghum bicolor

Tripsacum dactyloides
